About ARM-NADO
Promoting clean sport through education, testing, and advocacy.
Our History
ARM-NADO, the Anti-Doping Agency of Armenia, was established in 2015 as the legal successor to the previous national anti-doping office. The agency was formed in line with the requirements of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Since its inception, ARM-NADO has played a central role in ensuring fair play and the health of Armenian athletes at all levels of competition.
Over the years, the agency has implemented robust testing procedures and educational programs. In 2023 alone, more than 250 doping tests were conducted across a wide range of sports, with a focus on both in-competition and out-of-competition testing. The agency's commitment to international standards is reflected in our adoption of the latest WADA Code and best practices.
Our staff regularly participates in WADA certification programs and international conferences, ensuring that ARM-NADO remains at the forefront of anti-doping science, policy, and education. The agency collaborates closely with sports federations, athletes, and support personnel, championing the values of clean sport and integrity in Armenia and beyond.
